The final policy and consent interface should describe only technologies that are actually deployed.

The lightweight development interface does not require an advertising-cookie stack, autoplay media or a large collection of third-party widgets. The production cookie inventory must be generated after hosting, analytics, contact, consent, recruitment and embedded-media decisions are final.
No optional category should be described as active unless the corresponding technology is present in the deployed website.
4. Consent and visitor controls
Where consent is required, optional technologies should remain disabled until the visitor makes a valid choice. Refusing optional cookies should not prevent access to the website’s core corporate information.
Visitors should be able to revisit their choices through a persistent privacy or cookie-settings link. Browser controls may also be used to block or remove stored data, although this can affect some features.

Approved providers may set or read cookies when services such as analytics, maps, recruitment, embedded media or security protection are enabled. The production policy should identify material providers, purposes and relevant retention information.
External content should be loaded on demand where possible to reduce performance cost and avoid unnecessary data transfer.

Some technologies last only for the browser session, while others remain for a defined period. The production cookie table should state the name, provider, purpose, category and duration of each deployed cookie or storage item.
7. Regional platforms
The corporate website and the Kenya marketplace may use different technologies and have different consent requirements. The policy under /cookies is intended for the future root corporate website only.
The system moved to /ke/ should retain or receive its own accurate cookie inventory and consent controls.
8. Changes and contact
This policy should be reviewed whenever a new analytics provider, embedded service, consent tool or advertising technology is introduced. Material changes should be reflected in the cookie inventory and effective date.
