Marketplace controls
The following areas describe the operating controls used across relevant Exotic marketplace services.
Advertisers must satisfy the eligibility requirements applicable to the relevant platform before accessing services that require verification. For age-restricted platforms, participation is limited to adults meeting the applicable platform requirements.
Age-restricted marketplace operations use identity and age-verification processes designed to prevent minors from participating as advertisers. Where applicable, specialist age-verification services such as AgeChecked may form part of the verification process.
Advertisers pay to maintain active listings on relevant Exotic marketplaces. An Active Listing indicates that the advertising period is current and the associated contact information is intended to remain live and current. Active status is separate from Verified status.
Listings must comply with the applicable platform content rules and relevant corporate policies. Prohibited or restricted content includes, where applicable, material involving minors, non-consensual content, exploitation or trafficking, fraudulent or misleading listings, impersonation, unlawful content and other content prohibited by the relevant platform or applicable law.
Platform controls combine technology with human operational review. Depending on the platform and issue, this may include automated controls, manual review, user or advertiser reports, customer-service escalation and removal or restriction where standards are breached.
Exotic takes complaints concerning its platforms and advertisements seriously. Users can report concerns through the support and reporting channels available on the relevant platform, including on-site customer-care channels where provided. Reports are reviewed and escalated according to their nature and severity.
Depending on the issue, enforcement may include content removal, listing restriction, account suspension, loss of verification status, permanent removal from the platform or further escalation where appropriate. The outcome depends on the facts, evidence and applicable standards.
Verification distinction
AgeChecked, where used, forms part of an age-verification process. It is not the same as Exotic's own Verified status. Active Listing status is also separate and relates to whether the paid advertising period is current.

Independent advertisers
The relationship between the marketplace and its advertisers is an important part of the operating model.
Exotic's classified advertising marketplaces provide advertising and listing services to independent advertisers. Advertisers are responsible for their own advertisements and communications.
Exotic does not become the provider of an independently advertised service merely because an advertisement appears on an Exotic marketplace.
Platform rules, verification requirements and enforcement processes continue to apply to participation and advertising activity.
